New intermittent exercise idea- doing squats and courtesy squats while brushing teeth. I never want to wait the full time my electronic toothbrush goes for because I’m impatient so this feels like a win-win!

  • Meg

I actually didn't realize this until I read this article, but doing the intermittent workouts (most days, not all!) is definitely correlating with my decreased cravings for processed foods! It makes so much sense logically, but I love that it was happening and I didn't even actively work on that or try to do it!

  • Amy

I LOVE the idea of the mini-workouts, it fights every ALL-OR-NOTHING bone in my body so is a big mind-set shift for me but I have felt SOOO much more energy and I am actually really proud of the flexibility it is requiring (which is another hard thing for me!). I had the ah-ha moment of - there is no one way to do it - just because you said you would do stairs doesn't mean you can't mix it up!! (yes-duh!) Now I feel like I have like 10-15 different triggers for a bunch of different mini-workouts and it's making it harder and harder to find excuses not to do!

Went for a run for the first time in 2 years I felt so empowered. It’s crazy but I put myself first. I came back and my husband was like wow you are like a different person. And I was like yeah, I should go on these runs more often.
