How It Works

  • Be Well With Beth Initial Nutrition Session

    Initial Nutrition Session

During your first session we will get to know each other and create a plan to help you reach your nutrition and wellness goals.

We’ll start by reviewing your health and nutrition history. I will ask you to walk me through a typical day, including not only what you eat but also what may be getting in the way of reaching your nutrition goals.

Together we will set goals that make sense for you where you are, right now. You can expect to leave your first session with a few specific strategies that feel doable and achievable.

    Session length: 60-75 minute

  • Be Well With Beth Follow Up Nutrition Sessions

    Follow Up Nutrition Sessions

Follow up appointments are scheduled based on the amount of time you need to implement the strategy that we created and the amount of accountability you are seeking. Frequency varies from weekly, biweekly, monthly or simply as needed.

In a follow up visit we will check in on your progress and will add new strategies as needed. Between sessions you might be asked to take photos of your meals and report on your hunger and fullness in your food & mood journal, but only if it makes sense for you. Beth will only ask you to do what makes sense for you.

    Session length: 45 minutes

  • Prenatal Sessions

    Prenatal Sessions

In these sessions we follow the same structure as traditional nutrition counseling but pay special attention to your pregnancy stage and future planning. See the pregnancy services page to learn more about this unique experience.

You may book these sessions as traditional visits. There will be space to share a note about your prenatal stage.

  • Jessie

I just did something I never would have done in the past on vacation- my stomach was a little upset from eating a few French fries earlier so I ordered a salad for dinner tonight! Focused more on what my body wanted rather than what I thought I “should” get on a vacation.

  • Sam

I had no idea how little I recognize my own hunger cues vs. going by time/seeing food I like/others around me eating/ravenous phase! This seems like a really simple thing, but I need to do some work in this area so really appreciate the visual scale you provided!

  • Amy

I’m 38, this is the first time I’ve ever felt like I am eating in a healthy way. I’ve dieted before. I’ve eaten vegetables. But never in a healthy mindset kind of way. It’s a retrain of your brain.

  • Rachel

Beth customized diets specific to my individual needs. Her suggestions were very excellent! Her positive attitude and support have made a difference.

  • Alex

I love Beth's style. She always finds the positive in what you are doing and how you are eating. She makes great recommendations for changes. She has great ideas for food websites and I love the nutrition group sessions.

The question everyone wants to know

Should I book a private session or join a program?

The quick answer: Do both!

When you join a program you get get SO MUCH accountability and SO MANY resources.

Individual counseling is great because you get a really personal deep dive, but then you have to wait weeks between sessions. When you supplement private visits with a course (or vice versa) you’ll feel your best sooner and for longer.

It’s that simple, people who do both just thrive.
